Chef's fried chicken is an amazing treat for anyone who tries it, whether you like it rolled in sauce or not. Each meal is served with crazy style potatoes, so save room for your meal here!

2. Brookville Hotel - 105 E Lafayette Ave., Abilene, Kansas

The classic chicken dinner is served at Brookville Hotel, where you can reminisce on old days as you feast on some of the best old-style chicken around.

3. Carriage Crossing - 10002 S Yoder Rd., Yoder, Kansas

Yoder's famous home style restaurant makes amazing fried chicken just like Mama used to. Except you don't have to help with the dishes afterwards.

4. Stroud's - 4200 Shawnee Mission Pkwy., Fairway, Kansas

Stroud's has legendary cinnamon rolls, but did you know their fried chicken is one of the best things you can order here. Soon, you'll be wanting it all the time!

5. Olpe Chicken House - 8 E Hwy 99, Olpe, Kansas

Olpe Chicken House is a southeast Kansas legend, and one that has plenty of people arguing about who has the best chicken around.

6. Chicken Annie's - 1143 E 600th Ave., Pittsburg, Kansas

Chicken Annie's is another on that competitive list, and is loved by many. Their onion rings are legendary, but do they stack up to the next place?

7. Chicken Mary's - 1133 E 600th Ave., Pittsburg, Kansas

Chicken Mary's rounds out the trifecta of fried chicken debates, sitting just down the street from Chicken Annie's. Of course, that just makes it easier to try both of them in the same day!

8. Jim's Country Style Chicken - 649 S Broadway Blvd., Salina, Kansas

Jim's is a chicken restaurant you won't want to miss. Of course, don't be afraid to stop by next time you're in town.

9. Al's Chickenette - 700 Vine St., Hays, Kansas

Al's has been here since 1949, and we don't plan on letting it go any time soon. I mean, who could let go of a plate looking this good?

10. Krispy's Fried Chicken & Seafood - 3009 S Hillside St., Wichita, Kansas

Last but not least is Krispy's Fried Chicken, a newer restaurant that has been nothing but delicious every time.
