Hey Kansas, we hope you're hungry! There are a handful of places in Kansas that serve true made-from-scratch eats. Why not try these Amish traditions at Dutch Country Cafe? There's plenty of TLC in every dish, and plenty more in their service. Come check it out sometime!
Welcome to Dutch Country Cafe, a spot in Kansas that uses Amish influence on their dishes to create classic flavors you will never get tired of.
Though they were founded in 2018, the whole restaurant has based its cuisine and style of dining around Amish traditions. Quality made from scratch food is hard to come by, after all.
Do you remember having fried chicken made the good old-fashioned way? Without the freezer and the preservatives, and fresh out of the fryer.
They know their audience, and they know that there's nothing better than fresh bread, right from the oven.
As with all of our favorite restaurants and especially this one, getting a slice of made-from-scratch pie is a must. There's just no better way to wrap up a meal with so much TLC in every bite.
Cinnamon rolls with old-fashioned icing are fantastic to take home, for breakfast the next morning or dessert later when you have room. Even after pie, a cinnamon roll might hit the spot just right.
Dutch country kitchen is open from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
If you'd like to follow them online, check out the Dutch Country Cafe Facebook page. Otherwise, check out their official website for a full menu and more.
