Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. An Instagram ad caught my eye during a late-night scroll session and I was intrigued by the colorful compartments and versatility of the bag, which can be carried as a duffle or as a backpack (I prefer the backpack for even weight distribution and airport navigation.) Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days. Des Moines is Iowa's biggest city and its cultural capital - so it's no surprise that it's also the biggest hub of fine dining in the state. The city has an amazing dining scene, ranging from old-school chophouses to innovative international cuisine. There's a tight battle for the title of best restaurant in Iowa, but our pick might just be Harbinger. Tucked away on Ingersoll Avenue, this fusion restaurant by Chef Joe Tripp is heavily inspired by his trips through Asia. It combines classic Asian street food with modern fine dining twists. Unlike many of Des Moines' top restaurants, this isn't a high-end prix fixe menu - it's a la carte with a wide selection of small bites ,so you can create a unique meal that fits your interests.
