When it comes to amazing seafood, the vast majority of places you might think of all typically tend to be coastal, right? You think of Maine when you think of lobster. You think of Louisiana when you think of a crawdad boil. You think of, well, probably anywhere besides the Midwest - but maybe you should actually consider it, for as it turns out, there's some truly top-of-the-line seafood and steakhouses out here. Take the utterly incredible Ocean Prime, which can be found in beautiful downtown Indy. Rave reviews call it the best seafood restaurant in Indiana, and I might just be inclined to agree. It's the whole package all in one delicious experience.
Welcome to Ocean Prime, your new favorite seafood and steak spot in all of Indiana - or, at the very least, all of Indianapolis.
It's an elegant establishment perfect for celebrations of all sorts, from birthdays and anniversaries to first dates, wedding nights and everything in between.
Of course, you don't need to be celebrating anything at all; just stroll in and have a seat.
You're about to experience something wonderful.
There's nothing on the menu that isn't perfect, but my goodness, the seafood is especially to die for.
Experience delicious delights such as teriyaki salmon, crab legs, lobster tails and the world's best sushi. Everything is prepared nothing short of perfectly, and it's no mystery as to why Ocean Prime has been so wildly successful. It's not every day you get to experience a "perfect ten" in terms of food, but have dinner here just once and you'll know what it's like.
Of course, the non-seafood options are perfect for anyone and everyone not on board with the fresh-off-the-boat stuff.
The steaks and chops are absolutely delicious, ridiculously juicy and amazingly prepared. The whole menu is truly a work of art, and I'm sure you'll find yourself daydreaming about it days later.
The outdoor patio is lovely, and during cooler afternoons it comes brilliantly alive with hungry diners.
The service is excellent, and overall, the entire event from start to end is sure to please. It's worth every mile driven to reach it, and it's worth every dollar spent as well.
...and don't forget to leave room for drinks and dessert, which are sometimes one and the same.
