There's a tiny little steakhouse in Northeast Indiana that few have heard about, and it definitely deserves more attention. Known for some of the best fried fish in the state as well as amazing steak dishes, this restaurant is a must-visit for every Hoosier.

For more than two decades, Chubby's Fish and Steak has a been local watering hole for Orland, Indiana residents who want a budget-friendly bite to eat. There's no better place in the state to get surf n' turf.
Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this homey little steakhouse is a casual joint with friendly service. The place is often packed, but you can make reservations to secure a seat.
The menu consists of classic American fare, including all your favorite breakfast entrees. Guests enjoy chubby cakes, biscuits and gravy, omelets, country-fried steak, and much more.
Breakfast is served from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday and Saturday.
Lunch and dinner options include burgers, tenderloins, and a myriad of other sandwiches. Steak options include ribeye, sirloin, New York Strip, and ham steak, and when it comes to seafood, Chubby's famous fried fish has been bringing in crowds since 1990.
Be sure to save room for dessert. Chubby's sells milkshakes, malts, pies, and a la mode treats. You can stop by Sunday through Thursday between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.
