I've mentioned it a few times before, but I'm actually pregnant right now. That being said, writing an article on some of the best Italian restaurants in Indiana was TORTURE. Look at these pictures! The delicious mouthwatering food is hard to resist! Indiana is home to a lot of incredible Italian places. I had a hard time narrowing down the list! Here are 11 I think you're going to want to check out.

1. Mama Carolla's

1031 E 54th Street in Indianapolis is where this delicious Italian cuisine can be found. Mama Carolla’s is an upscale Italian dining establishment that's inside of a Mediterranean-style vile from the 1920’s. They have a full bar and beautiful garden seating.

2. Casa Grille Italiano

Casa Grille Italiano is an Italian restaurant you know very well if you live in Fort Wayne as there are five different locations exclusively in Fort Wayne. This is a family owned and operated small chain of restaurants known for its pizza, pasta, salad, and other traditional Italian cuisine.

3. La Trattoria Italian Restaurant

You can find this delicious Italian establishment at 201 N Madison Avenue in Greenwood. Many of the customers claim this is one of the best places in the middle of Indiana to get red meat.

4. Pesto's Italian Restaurant & Catering

This family owned Italian eatery is a favorite if you live in or near Valparaiso. Pasta, pizza, and salad are a few of the favorites on the menu. They even have an open buffet twice a week for their customers to enjoy.

5. Giovanni's Restaurant

This is a family owned and operated restaurant serving Italian staples to Munster, Indiana since the 1960’s. They have daily specials and some exceptionally delicious wine.

6. Popolano's Restaurant

Popolano's Restaurant is known for being a restaurant where delicious Italian cuisine is made to order. The food is served in a beautiful century old farm house while you sit on their beautiful bricked patio. You can stop by this restaurant if you're ever in Chesterton. It's located at 225 S Calumet Road.

7. Lucrezia Italian Ristorante

Lucrezia Italian Ristorante is the place to go in the state when you want a martini. They brag about serving some of the best martinis you're ever going to taste. This restaurant serves delicious northern Italian cuisine. It's located at 302 S Main Street in Crown Point.

8. Giuseppe's Everything Italian

If you ever find yourself in Schererville looking for some Italian cuisine Giuseppe's Everything Italian is located at 1000 Eagleridge. They serve delicious traditional wood fired Neapolitan pies as well as authentic Italian dishes. You are not going to be able to find many other places in the state that offer these delicious options.

9. Simeri's Italian Restaurant

10410 Olio Road is the physical address in Fortville for Simeri's Italian Restaurant. Customers agree they serve great pizza and pasta. You can tell they have a lot of passion about their food.

10. Rulli's Italian Rest Inc

851 US-20 in Middlebury is where you're going to find Rulli's Italian Rest Inc waiting for you to try. This is an award winning kitchen in the state of Indiana that is known for their signature pizza and pastas. If you like green peppers, mushrooms, and onions – they have an incredible salad too.

11. Bluebeard

Bluebeard is located at 653 Virginia Avenue in Indianapolis. Bluebeard is a very trendy restaurant that features a very book-ish style. They have the style of a 1920’s Italian restaurant.
