Many decades ago, the Fanara family opened Ma and Pa's Candy in Long Grove, Illinois. In 2019 when the Fanaras were set to retire, town residents Terri and Jeff Taylor decided to buy the mom-and-pop establishment and continue the tradition.
A visit to the charming Ma and Pa's Candy is like stepping back in time. Old-fashioned and retro candy is abundant here and you can find sweets you probably haven't thought about or seen since childhood.
Whether it's chocolate-covered or sugar-coated confections you're craving, this candy store has something for everyone. You'll feel like a kid again as you peruse the shelves and spot sweet treats that bring back fond memories of simpler times.
Craving chocolate? The store's chocolate case is filled with delectable goodies like coconut haystacks, chocolate or yogurt-covered Oreos, almond bark, chocolate-covered toffee, and more!
