Despite its location in the countryside, this restaurant is worth the drive! With a menu that's filled with variety of high-quality cuisine and comfort food, as well as excellent service *and* a cozy atmosphere, this eatery is one you will want to return to again and again.
There's plenty of classic American comfort food on the menu here. Feel free to build your own burger or order one of the many sandwiches or melts from the menu. All burgers, sandwiches, and melts come with a choice of soup, salad, or fries.
The bar opens at 11 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday and stays open a while after the kitchen closes. However, there may be limited menu options still available to order.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Joey's Red Hots in Orland Park, Illinois, is one such hot dog stand. It has an absolutely massive menu, and the best part is, you can still eat a full meal there without putting too much of a dent in your wallet!
The easiest way to do this is to stick to ordering from the Value Menu, where nothing is over $10. You can choose from 10 different options, including hot dogs, corndogs, a gyro, Italian beef, or a pork chop sandwich.

Joey's Red Hots has seven locations throughout the state of Illinois. The Orland Park spot is especially noteworthy because that town has a bit of unusual history. Twenty years ago, one of the most credible UFO sightings in the country happened here! You might want to bring along an instant camera, just in case. We hear UFOs don't show up too well on a camera phone.
