Spring is on its way to Illinois, so many of us are eager to spend time outdoors. 1. Cindy's Rooftop (Chicago)

Perched atop the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel on Michigan Avenue, this restaurant has an incredible view of Millennium Park. A great view outside, a gorgeous restaurant inside, and amazing food to top it all off? We'll take it!

Look down on the state capitol from this stunning steakhouse. The romantic decor and amazing view make Nick & Nino's the perfect date spot.

3. Sogno (Wheaton)

Sogno recently built a brand new rooftop patio, and it's one you cannot miss! From this vantage point, you can see all of Wheaton.

4. The Standard (Rockford)

This farm-to-table spot has delicious food, but it's the rooftop terrace that has people flocking to it. The Standard specializes in events, so you'll have to throw a party (or get invited to one) to check it out.

5. Medici (Normal)

The upstairs patio at Medici is a hidden oasis in the middle of Uptown Normal. The cozy atmosphere filled with plants creates the perfect setting for your meal.

6. Homestead (Chicago)

Above a pizza joint in the West Town neighborhood lies an incredible restaurant stocked with vegetables grown on site. If peering at a 3,000 square foot organic garden sounds exciting, you will love this place!

7. JT Walker's (Mahomet)
