There's certainly no shortage of scenery around the beautiful Prairie State. There's also no shortage of incredible eateries. However, finding a restaurant with scenic views in Illinois is a bit harder to do. But we found one we would like to tell you about. Twin Rivers Restaurant in Mount Carmel is a casual eatery that arguably has some of the best views in the state.
Along the conflux of the White and Wabash Rivers in Mount Carmel, you'll find a small family establishment known as Twin Rivers Restaurant.
With river views like this, there's perhaps no other place more scenic in the state for a meal. Wouldn't you enjoy dining with views like this?
Inside, you'll find a casual space with large windows offering a vista from just about every part of the restaurant. Customers consistently rave about the views here.
Scenery aside, the food is excellent as well. Among the most popular items that customers love on the menu is the hand-breaded catfish. You can order one filet with two sides or two filets with three sides. Another option is the all-you-can-eat catfish nuggets or filets with your choice of three sides.
In addition to catfish, you can choose from an array of burgers, salads, country fried chicken, corn fritters, pickle fries, a tenderloin sandwich, and more.
