In business since 2003, Good To Go Jamaican Restaurant is situated in a suburb just north of Chicago and is open daily.
It has some of the nicest outdoor seating in town and features an outdoor patio with couches and cornhole. This is a great place to enjoy a community atmosphere.
The interior is lit with natural light and includes space for more than 100 guests typically, though physical distancing guidelines have limited the number of people who can be inside.
When it comes to the food, the restaurant is mostly known for its chicken, which is prepared jerk-style. Jerk is a special blend of seasonings like BBQ, and it originates in Jamaica.
Guests enjoy the Jerk wings, shrimp, fish, ribs, chicken nachos, tacos, burgers, salads, and much more. There is even Jerk BBQ chicken.
Other menu items include curry chicken, oxtail, fried chicken, brown stew chicken, curry goat, creamy coconut shrimp, and other dinners.
Sides include rice, collard greens, sweet potato fries, rice and peas, fried plantains, mac and cheese, candied yams, and much more. The restaurant also does breakfast.
