Located in the gorgeous resort town of McCall, Broken Horn Brewing Company should be on every craft beer lover's bucket list. Boasting a variety of tasty brews and a cozy patio to enjoy them on, it's simply a great spot to sip and pass the time.
McCall may be a small town of under 3,000 residents, but it boasts a surprising amount of fantastic beer options. Home to iconic breweries like Salmon River Brewery and McCall Brewing, there's no shortage of craft beer in the area. Located on Mission Street, Broken Horn Brewing Company is another destination worth visiting in the town's beer scene.
The beer selection at Broken Horn is varied and creative with something for everybody's tastes. They boast 11 unique brews that they offer throughout the year, and they typically have six of them on draft at a time.
It won't be long before you settle on your personal favorite beer, especially since it seems like Broken Horn offers one of every kind. Their Ludwig Lager and Sturgeon Tale Pale Ale are great light-drinking options. If you prefer something darker, the Pin Up Porter and Sasquatch Stout are definitely for you.
The brewery's patio is a popular place to hangout, especially right after work hours. Although nothing beats an open patio on a sunny day, the fire pit tables make it cozier than ever during the cold season. In fact, you may just prefer the winter patio!
One of Broken Horn's most unique options is the Hells Canyon Jalapeño. This light beer is nice and crisp, but notes of pepper add a touch of heat to every sip. Trust us, you'll definitely want to try it.
Unlike other breweries in the area, Broken Horn is beer-only and doesn't operate an in-house kitchen. However, they'll sometimes host a food truck vendor, so keep an eye out on their Facebook page for updates. Keep warm this winter and support a great local brewery with a visit to Broken Horn Brewing Company!
