While the Hawaiian Islands don’t experience fall weather like much of the mainland, we can certainly partake in all things Halloween, from candy corn and pumpkin carving to haunted houses. And while we love family-friendly Halloween attractions as much as the next person, sometimes you want to partake in some spooky, adults-only fun. If you love all things macabre and a good cocktail, you'll want to plan a visit to Honolulu's very own Halloween-themed pop-up bar now open through the remainder of October.
Welcome to Ghost Bar, a creepy spot located within Ala Moana Center that’s sure to put you in the Halloween spirit. Though this spot looks normal from the outside, you'll find a Halloween wonderland once you step inside.
Creepy clowns, disturbing dolls, spooky spiders, and confining coffins are just a few of the terrifying elements used to decorate the Ghost Bar.
You will find a bevy of Halloween-inspired cocktails on the menu as well as draft beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Sip on a Faceless Lady, Killer Clown, Vampire Bite, and more while you enjoy the creepy surroundings.
No matter what you order, these bewitching cocktails are sure to impress. You can even take a premium syringe shot or share a Trick-or-Treat bowl with your friends.
From the creators of Haunted Plantation in collaboration with Ichiriki Japanaese Nabe Restaurant, this one-of-a-kind bar experience is as spooky as it is fun.
Due to the creepy contents of this establishment — as well as strobe lights and fog used — the faint of heart should steer clear, as should anyone who’s pregnant or with a heart condition, abnormal blood pressure, and medical sensitivities to strobe lights and fog.
The Ghost Bar is located in the Ewa Wing of Ala Moana Center at 1450 Ala Moana Blvd., Honolulu, HI 96814. They are open daily now until October 31 from 2 p.m. to midnight, and there is no cover charge. Costumes are allowed, but masks must be removable for ID checks. They also advise against using heavy makeup, as it can prohibit staff from being able to properly identify you. Learn more on their website.
If you want to be truly terrified this month, be sure to check out Hawaii's Haunted Plantation. And if you're looking for some family fun this season, head to Waimanalo Country Farm's Fall Harvest Festival.
