The wine industry in Georgia is booming, and if you're hunting for Peach State vineyards, there are plenty of great ones to choose from. The Georgia Wine Highway is a Georgia wine trail that's a perfect way to explore some of the state's best vineyards, no matter what region of Georgia you're located in. A number of top wineries from all over Georgia participate in the program, and this year, it's been revamped to make it even better than ever. Check it out, and take a peek at some of our favorite Georgia vineyards:
There are nearly 50 wineries in Georgia, and while many of them are located in the northern, cooler regions of the state, there are plenty of Georgia Wine Trail listings for Middle Georgia and South Georgia, too.
The 2024 Georgia Wine Highway experience starts off in March, and a purchase of a passport gives you access to all kinds of deals at local wineries.
Participating vineyards offer up free tastings, discounts on purchases, and even BOGO deals.
Note that deals are vineyard-specific, so if you're interested in a particular winery, make sure to check out the Georgia Wine Highway website first.
Some of the participating wineries in North Georgia even offer up on-site lodging if you'd like to make your experience into a multi-day trip.
If you love wine, a trip down the Georgia Wine Highway is a great way to explore new areas of the state while enjoying your favorite beverage.
Most of the specials included with your Georgia Wine Highway passport start as soon as it's purchased, so make sure to get yours ASAP for the best bang for your buck!
