Ahh, pies. Fresh. Homemade. Straight-from-the-oven and made with love. Those are just a few reasons why we love pies in Georgia. But what’s better than baking pies in our own kitchen? Having someone else make them for us! At The Pie Hole, one of the best pie shops near Atlanta, you’ll be able to rest easy knowing that you’ll get all of the quality of a made-from-scratch homemade pie without all of the fuss of having to make it yourself. Check it out…
Right in the heart of Downtown Roswell, which is less than 30 miles north of Atlanta, you’ll find The Pie Hole, a local-favorite pie shop situated in a charming, rustic barn.
The Pie Hole offers a delightful selection of pies, both sweet and savory, all made by hand from scratch.
When you think of quality pies, you imagine seasonal ingredients, made with love, with hand-rolled pastry and a perfectly flaky crust—this is what you’ll find at this wonderful Georgia pie shop.
As the seasons change, so do the flavors at The Pie Hole, which means you’ll always have a rotating selection all year long.
Fall brings about some deliciously comforting flavors like apple, pecan, and pumpkin…
…meanwhile, summertime will have you rejoicing in blueberry, key lime, and Derby.
If you are looking to take a break from Thanksgiving cooking this year and want to outsource your pies, this is the place to do it as they open up for Thanksgiving orders over a month in advance.
Enjoy all the small-town charm and the delightful taste of home when you visit The Pie Hole in Roswell.
There's also a second location in Augusta, which I've visited with my family.
The name of the shop reminds us of a hilarious comedy routine by one of our favorite comedians, Tim Hawkins, called Christian Curse Words, where Shut Your Pie Hole is included as a "Christian curse word." He has another routine where he talks about eating somewhere a waitress told him a menu item was so good it will "make you want to slap your mama," to which he asked if there was a less violent menu? (Haha!) Thankfully, none of my children slapped me after eating the pie at The Pie Hole, but it was some delicious, lip-smacking pie, for sure!
We each ordered personal pies. I had a peanut butter pie, my husband had key lime, my son had salted caramel cheesecake, and my daughter had fudge brownie pie. We each savored every bite!
After eating pie, you may like to stop by Roswell Area Park for a scenic hike to walk off those calories!
