You have dined at the oldest continuously operating restaurant in the state of Georgia. If your hand isn't raised, then I think you may need a few reasons why you should head over to The Plaza for a meal or a cocktail, as soon as possible.
The Plaza Restaurant & Oyster Bar was established in 1916. That makes it a century old.
When The Plaza officially opened it could only seat 26 people at a time.
The Plaza can now seat up to 500 guests, with new and improved outdoor seating as well.
The restaurant initially catered to a predominantly Greek clientele...
...but has expanded their menu tenfold ever since, while still incorporating the traditions that made them delicious all along.
There also is a full service bar which features some amazing happy hour prices.
Plus a lunch buffet to end all lunch buffets.
Seriously....can the food get any fresher?
But the real reason you need to visit The Plaza is because of the history...
...ad obviously Andrew's homemade pies, which use recipes more than 50 years old.
