The french fry scene in Georgia is so diverse, so wonderfully delicious, that we decided to create an entire culinary tour around it.

The types of fries that you can get at Sly's are practically endless. Combining some of the best foods and flavors, you can order up bacon cheese fries, jalapeño cheese fries, chili cheese fries, pulled pork, or BBQ...and the great news is, they are all fresh and hand cut. WIN.
2. Twin Oaks Barbecue - 2618 Norwich St, Brunswick, GA 31520
The signature breaded french fries at Twin Oaks Barbecue are everything you could imagine and more. Whether you call ‘em breaded or battered or whatever your preference is, these fries are downright delicious. Then if you get the BBQ cheese fries on top of that? Well, you are in french fry heaven by that point.
3. The Swanson House - 933 Carroll St, Perry, GA 31069
Known for their delicious home cooking, The Swanson House is one of the most unsuspecting spots to get a nice plate of french fries. Most people go for the fried chicken, but we go for the fries—fresh cut french fries that are battered and beautiful. MMMmmm.
4. The Fry Guy - 88 Forsyth St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303

Perhaps the most comprehensive in terms of choice on this entire culinary tour, The Fry Guy serves up deliciously curated plates of fries unlike anything else you’ve eaten. 5. Augustine’s - 327 Memorial Dr SE, Atlanta, GA 30312
Here is the thing about the fries and tots from Augustine's: there is variety and they are delicious. The duck fat fries are out-of-this-world, and the smothered tots are even better. You can load up on potatoes until your heart's content at this Georgia hidden gem.
6. Dish Dive - 2233 College Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30317
We hope you’re not too full yet, because we have a place for you that serves up french fries as an entire meal. Especially when you see what comes on top! Duck Fat Confit Fries are actually a thing, and yes they are served at Dish Dive. Sink your teeth into the tender meat, the soft, almost pillowy fries, and alllllll the gravy in between.

Two words: Sesame fries. These deliciously crunchy and carefully cooked fries are the perfect side to any of the tacos you snag at Hankook. Heck, you can even just get a basket of your own and call it a meal. The tempura-style french fries with a tiny bit of red pepper and sesame oil bring out unusual, yet delicious flavors you never knew you needed.
10. Kozmo Gastro Pub - 11890 Douglas Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30005
