As the story goes, Moon River Brewing Company is located in the building which was formerly known as City Hotel, which was built in 1821.

City Hotel was the very first hotel in Savannah, with many famous and notable guests staying there throughout the years.

The hotel changed many hands over time, becoming a lumber ad coal warehouse, a place for general storage, and even a large printing press.

However, soon enough, weird things started happening inside the building as reported by staff members and paranormal professionals.

It’s is only natural that ghosts want to congregate at one of the oldest buildings in Savannah, right?

Stories of apparitions, beer bottles throw from invisible forces, people being touched or pushed without anyone around, and sightings of a shadowy figure throughout the building have all been reported.
