The Vortex Bar & Grill in Atlanta is a true staple of the city—serving up the most delicious burgers since 1992.
The Quadruple Bypass Burger has a ton of moving parts, including 4-griddled, diner-style patty melts as the buns, 8 slices of Texas toast, 32 oz of sirloin, 28 slices of American cheese, four fried eggs, 27 strips of bacon, 12 oz of mayo, 20 oz of spuds topped with 16 oz cheese.
At just shy of 10,000 calories, this burger is also available as an Eating Challenge, which means you can attempt to chow down within a certain time frame to get the whole meal for free.

So, what can you expect from the menu? There's a focus on small, sharable plates with food sourced locally and prepared creatively. Seasonal ingredients are highlighted with a signature Southern-inspired twist. Stop by Thursdays through Sundays between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and you can look forward to sampling something from the brunch menu. Favorites include homemade biscuits, deviled eggs, and other rotating specials.
Perhaps the most popular section of the menu is the drinks section. Whether you're looking for freshly squeezed juices at brunch or hand-bottled cocktails in the evening, you'll find something memorable here. Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
