1. 11th Annual Civic Center EATS, May-Oct. 2016

"Metro Denver's largest gathering of gourmet food trucks and carts" descends upon the Civic Center Park from 11am-2pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from May 3-October 6. Sample diverse food offerings, enjoy live music, and support a great cause! (Proceeds go to the nonprofit Civic Center Conservancy.)

2. The Big Wonderful, May-Oct. 2016

This family-friendly outdoor festival and marketplace rotates throughout Denver from May through October, with stops at Stanley Market, Geneva Park in Littleton, 16th St Mall, & Mile High. 3. 40th Anniversary of the Colorado Renaissance Festival, June-August 2016

The Colorado Renaissance Festival in Larkspur is celebrating "40 magical and memorable years" of food and entertainment. They host nine wonderful weekends from June-August of costume-filled fun for the whole family, so you've got plenty of chances to join in the revelry. "Huzzah and Cheers to 40 Magical Years!"

4. 27th Annual Do At The Zoo, June 16, 2016

Want to contribute to the Denver Zoo and help feed and care for its nearly 4,000 animals while also feeding your face? At Do the Zoo, you can graze on exotic dishes from over 60 local restaurants, while drinking an unlimited amount of regional beer, wine, and spirits. Cocktail attire is suggested; animal prints and safari wear are strongly encouraged.

5. 51st Annual Denver Greek Festival, June 17-19, 2016

Are you ready to savor the sweet buttery goodness of heavenly baklava? Eat, drink, and dance is the motto at the Denver Greek Festival, where you can sample traditional favorites from over 50 of Colorado's best Greek restaurants, see cooking demonstrations, and enjoy live music and dance performances. 6. 3rd Annual Brews and Bites, June 25, 2016

Festivalgoers prepare yourselves for a classy event filled with craft beer and food pairings from Colorado's best chefs and brewers, as well as live music and mansion tours. That's right, this event is held at "Colorado's Home" (aka the Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion). Proceeds go to the Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund so you're doing a solid for yourself, your stomach, and your community!

7. Denver Taco Festival, June 25-26, 2016

We LOVE our tacos in the Mile High City, and we can't wait to celebrate them at the Denver Taco Festival, back for its 3rd year. This family-friendly festival offers tacos from the tastiest restaurants and food trucks in town, as well as live music, tequila and margarita tastings, live Lucha Libre wrestling, and more, so don't miss it!

8. The Big Eat, July 14, 2016

This just may be the main event for food lovers in Denver this summer! Hosted by EatDenver at the fabulous Galleria at the the Denver Performing Arts Center, this intimate celebration of independent restaurants and our local food scene is truly one of a kind. Dine on dishes from over 50 Mile High restaurants lovingly created by the city's most talented culinary stars, accompanied by regional wine, local spirits, craft beers, and live musical entertainment. 11. Denver Burger Battle, Aug. 4, 2106

Want to sample THE BEST burgers in Denver while at the same time helping to feed the hungry? 15 local restaurants will compete for the title of the best burger in the Mille High, judged by four chef and celebrity judges. 100% of the profits will go to the Kossler Foundation and, in turn, to local organizations to help hunger relief and child welfare in the metro area. It's a win, win for all at the Denver Burger Battle!

12. Tequila, Taco & Cerveza Fest, Aug. 21, 2016
