It isn't hard to find good pizza in Delaware, if you know where to look. While we do sort of suffer from mediocre pizza being on every corner, there are still plenty of great pizzerias that make excellent, old-world style brick oven pizza, or New York style pies. If you're looking for the best pizza in Delaware, look no further, and check these unbelievable places off of your Delaware Pizza Bucket List.
1. Tamburelli's, Greenwood
Tamburelli's in Greenwood has been one of my favorite Delaware Pizza spots for years. If you're following a gluten free diet, you'll be happy to know they can make an excellent gluten free pie! Personally, I love anything of theirs with chicken and broccoli. 3 W Market St
Greenwood, DE 19950
2. Charlies, Claymont
Charlie's has been serving up amazing pizza in Claymont for over 30 years. There's a reason they've lasted so long and that they're so popular, and you'll have to stop in to see for yourself.
2703 Philadelphia Pike Claymont, DE 19703
3. Frederica Pizza and Pasta, Frederica
Frederica Pizza and Pasta House is one of the most mentioned restaurants in my reader's comments, and no wonder! With few non-seafood options in the area, this place is a welcome treat.
1491 Frederica Rd Frederica, DE 19946
2. Hall's Family Restaurant, Wyomin
4. Nicola Pizza, Rehoboth Beach
The Nic-O-Boli is famous throughout the state! In the summer, there's a line out the door for this incredible pizza delicacy.8 N 1st St
Ste 1
Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
5. La Matesina, Delaware City
La Matesina in Delaware City is a true New York style pizzeria, with amazing stromboli and delicious pies turned out every single day.
5 Clinton St
Delaware City, Delaware 19706
6. Cafe Riviera, Wilmington
It can be hard to believe that one of the best pizza spots in Delaware is actually in the Concord Mall, but you've got to try the brick oven pizzas at Cafe Riviera.4737 Concord Pike Concord Mall
Wilmington, Delaware
7. Tonys Pizza and Pasta, Bridgeville
Tony's Pizza in Bridgeville is another unassuming spot, located in the parking lot of a gas station. Don't let the modest storefront fool you, though, the pizza here is as good as any other you'll find in the First State.613 S Main St
Bridgeville, DE 19933
8. Pie, Bethany Beach
Quite the opposite of Tony's is Pie in Bethany Beach. Here you'll find gourmet grilled pizza along with one of the best wine and beer lists in the state. I absolutely love their crispy creations and I suspect you will, too. 120 Central Blvd
Bethany Beach, DE 19930
9. Laurel Pizzeria, Laurel
Laurel Pizzeria has been bringing amazing italian food to slower lower for generations. Their pizza is still tops, and you'll enjoy any of the other entrees you order at this small shop. Personally, I think you just can't go wrong with their Philly Steak Pizza.417 N. Central Ave
Laurel, Delaware

10. Grotto Pizza, Newark
Pizza Purists are going to hate me for adding Grotto's to a Delaware Pizza article, but think about it - this is the ultimate Delaware Pizza Bucket List. I truly think that, at least once in your life, every Delawarean needs to throw back a few cheap pitchers of beer and down a mediocre Grotto pie with college kids around you living it up. After all, Grotto's is a true Delaware landmark!45 E Main St
Newark, DE 19711
