This tiny place serves up some incredible Tex-Mex-style food. You may have to wait for a table, but it'll be worth it.
4. Mariachi Restaurant, Rehoboth Beach
Delicious Mexican at the beach. Try the seafood enchiladas!
5. El Diablo Burritos, Newark and Wilmington
You’ll never leave hungry after eating a burrito the size of your head.
6. El Tapatio, Wilmington
El Tapatio is known for their tasty margaritas and unique specials. But leave room for dessert, like this fried ice cream!
7. Tequilas Mexican Restaurant and Bar, Middletown
Diners rave about their tamales, but the most unique item on the menu might be the Sope de Mariscos. This seafood soup is only available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so plan ahead.

The real deal authentic Mexican cuisine. Their menu may be a bit small, but everything is prepared perfectly.

9. Papa Grande’s, Rehoboth Beach

The outdoor dining may draw you to this restaurant near the beach, but the food will keep you coming back! Shrimp tacos, anyone?
10. Rivera Taco Express II, Bear
MMM… Tacos…. Locals might know this as the taco stand that used to have a giant Homer Simpson sign outside. Located near the intersection of Routes 40 and 72 in Bear, this hidden gem doesn’t look like much but its menu packs a punch. Homer might be gone, but the tacos are still very much available – and delicious.
