Delaware is known for being a seafood state, but it constantly gets overshadowed by the bigger players in the seafood industry, like Maine and Maryland. In typical off-centered Dogfish Head fashion, Delaware's favorite brewery decided to take things into their own hands and bring the best of the best to one location in Rehoboth Beach. Using locally sourced seafood as well as the finest products from Maryland and Maine, Dogfish Head's Chesapeake and Maine seafood shack has created the ultimate experience for fish and crustacean lovers statewide - the best lobster roll you'll ever try.
Sam Calagione's latest contribution to the First State is a wonderful representation of the East Coast's seafood scene.
The interior is truly a work of art, designed by award winning architects and decorated with stunning lighting and nautical fish subway tiles.
Dogfish Head can't do anything without putting their twist on it - even the raw bar features oysters infused with wood-smoked salt!
You'll find elegant dishes inspired by Calagione's childhood in Maine and adulthood along the Delaware and Chesapeake Bays.
And of course, the full bar features legendary mixologists serving creative drinks, keg-conditioned cocktails, and Dogfish's own local, off-centered ales.
Where C&M really shines, though, is in their seafood roll offerings. Try a classic chilled Lobster Roll, a Hot Brown Butter Lobster Roll or the crowd favorite Crab Roll.
Whichever roll you choose, you're in for an absolutely mouthwatering treat, influenced by the world famous Maine lobster rolls.
Dogfish Head's mark on the Rehoboth Beach region is now made with more than their legendary ales - many food critics have proclaimed the C&M Lobster Roll to be one of the best they've ever tried.
Unlike many seasonal seafood shacks in Delaware, Chesapeake and Maine is open daily. Their happy hour at the Raw Bar (and regular bar!) runs from 4 PM to 6 PM, and dinner service is from 4 PM to 9 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, they're open until 10 PM.
Chesapeake and Maine is rather new to the Delaware culinary scene, but they've made an impression with the best lobster roll in Delaware.
