One of the most unique, can't-miss shops in Colorado, however, is hands down Poor Richard's:

Located in the Springs, Poor Richard's is famous for having "Colorado Springs' favorite New York-style pizza since 1975," but there is much more to love about this southern Colorado institution than just their delicious pies.

The Fifty-Niner is a speakeasy that's hidden in the back of The Dice Guys Game Store. You can enjoy craft cocktails and beers in a comfortable space at this cool spot, plus play games from the game store's 200 game library while you're there. It's a fantastic store with lots of fun games of all kinds. The store offers pre-orders on new games, leagues, and even a summer camp.

What you might not know about The Dice Guys is that it has a secret speakeasy in the back!

This space is a nod to local history. In 1859, prospectors came to find gold and many settled in Old Colorado City. The building in which the game store and the speakeasy are located is across from the original Territory Colorado Capital.

When you enter, you'll find a comfortable space that has plenty of room for relaxing, imbibing, eating, and playing games.

It's the perfect place to take a date!

The drinks offered here are both beautiful and tasty. You might try The Fifty-Niner's Our signature house drink comprised of bourbon, splash of Topo Chico, freshly squeezed lemon, honey, and garnished with a sprig of mint dusted with edible gold flake.

On top of great drinks, The Fifty-Niner also serves food! One of the paninis served here will surely hit the spot.
