There are many restaurants to choose from in Southern California, but there's one destination in particular that is truly unlike any place you've experienced before.
With a 7-course menu that will knock your socks off, and a magical ambience that will make you feel like you're in a fairytale setting, this is one restaurant you definitely do not want to miss.
Since 1972, Hobbit Restaurant has been serving a unique 7-course meal that is one of the most memorable dining experiences around.
Located at 2932 E Chapman Ave in Orange, CA, this hidden gem in SoCal is one restaurant you'll want to add to the top of your bucket list.
Tucked inside an old refurbished house, Hobbit Restaurant is the kind of experience you daydream about for a lifetime. Just step through this entrance and you'll be transported to a magical night filled with amazing food inside a dreamy setting.
What makes the Hobbit Restaurant so unique is how the meal is structured. Just like a night of theatre, the evening is separated into three acts.
For Act One, you'll be taken to the wine cellar where you'll be treated to a display of tasty hors d'oeuvres. While in the wine cellar, you'll pick out a bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal if you'd like.
Act Two is where you'll get to experience several different courses and flavors.
The meal starts with a seafood dish, moves on to a meat course, and then ends with a salad of fresh greens. Make sure you pace yourself as you'll want to save room for the main course.
Right after the Second Act, you'll have an opportunity to take a brief 10-15 minute intermission as you wait for the the next course. You'll be encouraged to explore the restaurant or relax on the patio for a brief break.
Once Act Three arrives you'll return to your table to dive into the main course.
But don't be shocked when they present a sorbet before you receive the main dish as it is served first to cleanse your palate.
The main course is often a hearty meat dish with fresh vegetables. You'll also have a seafood option to choose from if you desire.
And last but not least, the meal will end with dessert. This lava cake will melt in your mouth from the very first bite.
Doesn't this look like a divine way to dine? Hobbit Restaurant offers one seating each night at 7pm from Wednesday to Sunday. If you'd like to get more information or inquire about reservations, you can check out their website right over here.
