It's unlike any McDonald's you've ever visited. Here's a closer look at what you'll find.
Located along Historic Route 66 in the city of San Bernardino, you'll find the site of the very first McDonald's chain that was originally opened back in 1940.
Although you won't find any cheeseburgers, Big Macs, or a large order of fries at this McDonald's, you'll definitely find a lot of history as it has since been turned into a museum.
Located at 1398 N E St, San Bernardino, CA 92405, you can make a visit to the McDonald's museum Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are accepted at the door.
When you step inside, you'll discover an extensive collection of McDonald's memorabilia that will take you back in time.
Glass cases line the walls and are filled with all sorts of history that will take you through McDonald's early days.
You'll even find a display of French Fry bags and Burger Wraps that have the original McDonald's logo.
More than just McDonald's memorabilia, this museum offers a glimpse of a few antique treasures that will give you a glimpse of what life was like long before McDonald's had locations all over the world.
A lot has changed since this original McDonald's first took California by storm almost eighty years ago. But one thing has stayed the same -- McDonald's is still a household name after all these years.
