You can't go wrong with breakfast at Millie's. Even the classics like fried eggs and french toast are out of this world delicious at this locals hot spot in Los Angeles.

Not only is Flappy Jack's fun to say, but it's also a great place to eat. Pancakes are definitely on the menu here, so go ahead and treat yourself to this gorgeous plate of flapjacks smothered in strawberries and whipped cream. Mmmmm!
6. Simple Simon's Bakery and Bistro -- 3639 Main Street in Riverside
There's nothing tiny about the portions at Simple Simon's. Just look at the size of that omelet! For a filling breakfast in a central location, this spot is always a great place to meet.
7. Mo's Egg House -- 27405 Jefferson Avenue in Temecula
Eggs aren't the only thing on the menu at Mo's Egg House, but they're definitely worth ordering. Or you could also have some dessert for breakfast and order up a side of these melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip pancakes.
8. The Cottage -- 7702 Fay Avenue in La Jolla
Breakfast at The Cottage in La Jolla never disappoints. From the freshest ingredients to inventive dishes, this gem in La Jolla has a loyal following. Be prepared to wait on the weekends, sometimes up to an hour, due to its popularity.
9. Plums Cafe -- 369 E 17th Street in Costa Mesa
You can always count on a crowd at this Orange County favorite that serves up a menu that reflects Pacific Northwest cuisine. Come hungry, as the portions are designed for a lumberjack's appetite.
