Summer is probably the most relaxed time of the year and when many people head to the beach. But wouldn’t it be nice to keep that feeling all year long? That’s where the Wipeout Bar & Grill comes in. Put on your beach gear, don a hat and sunglasses, and let’s go!
Located in San Francisco at the city’s famous Pier 39, the Wipeout Bar & Grill has been a tourist favorite since 2005.
Although the weather does not feel like summer in San Francisco year-round, it definitely carries that vibe here 365 days a year.
Both the interior and exterior were designed to evoke that beachy feeling.
Surfboards, beach signs, palm trees, and tiki-like decorations are all part of the fun here.
The menu categories are what you’d expect to find in a classic beach restaurant...
... yet with creative names like Big Wave Bowls, Wipeout Burgers, Surfin' Sandwiches, Paddlin' Pizzas, and Shredding Salads. These Baja fish tacos or totally awesome, dude!
The giant, tropical-themed 21-ounce drinks here are not for lightweights!
The Tasty Wave is made with Silver Rum and Bacardi Piña Colada mix, then blended and poured over Blue Curacao. Then there’s the Shark Bite: Rum, crème de banana, and Bacardi Piña Colada mix blended and poured over a strawberry wave.
Grab a friend or two and come on over!
Even on those often foggy and chilly San Francisco days, you’ll feel warm and comfortable, with or without the roaring fire pits on the outdoor patio, anytime.
A beachy vibe, great food, and tropical drinks. That’s all you need to enjoy the summer feeling all year long at the Wipeout Bar & Grill.
Have you eaten at the Wipeout Bar & Grill? If so, what did you enjoy most? We’d love to hear about your experience there.
