This is a good time of the year to find a restaurant with a view especially of a beach. The San Francisco Bay area offers more options than you think. 1. The Cliff House: 1090 Point Lobos, San Francisco
The Cliff House is a classic SF restaurant and attraction. Parking may be tough, but worth it for the views and old school ambiance. There are a few options here, including Sutro’s, known for its fresh seafood and the more casual Bistro Restaurant, a favorite for breakfast or brunch.
2. The Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant: 1000 Great Highway, San Francisco, 94121
San Francisco’s only other beachside restaurant sits alongside Ocean Beach and offers awesome and memorable views of the Pacific Ocean. The food here is American-style, but we highly recommend going for the beer sampler and burgers.
3. Louis’: 902 Point Lobos Avenue, San Francisco, 94121
If you come here, you get a great view of the ruins of Sutro Bath and the ocean. This is a place that feels nostalgic for an older San Francisco, so expect comfort food. Come here for great burgers and breakfast/brunch food.
4. La Costanera: 8150 Cabrillo Highway, Montara, 94037

5. The Siren Canteen: 201 Hwy 1, Stinson Beach, CA 94970
A surprisingly reasonable spot not too far from San Francisco. The Siren Cafe is a yummy, well-priced food in a charming open-air converted lifeguard tower with a beach view. A must go for anyone wanting food with a view on a budget.
6. Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay: 1 Miramontes Point Rd, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019
You don't have to be a guest at the Ritz to sit and enjoy an ocean view with appetizers and wine. Order any number of drinks, food, or just sit and relax and marvel at the Half Moon Bay coast. If you're looking for light food and drinks then check out the Ritz Carlton site.
7. Navio: The Ritz-Carlton, 1 Miramontes Point Road, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019
If you want a more exclusive and plush beachside dining experience at the Ritz then try out Navio. Enjoy brunch Buffet with a view. Venture outside San Francisco to Pacifica for a worthwhile beachside dining experience. Ask for a table overlooking the ocean, but realize it is often foggy. Moonraker is known for a great Sunday brunch as well as seafood. Yummy!
9. Nick’s Seashore Restaurant: 100 Rockaway Beach Avenue, Pacifica, 94044

10. The Picnic Basket: 125 Beach Street, Set B, Santa Cruz, 95060
If you want to get out of the area and explore a prime beachfront spot then go to the Picnic Basket in Santa Cruz. This is a great place to dine right across the street from the beach. The food is reasonably priced and centered around quality breakfast and comfort food. Outdoor dining will provide you with a view of the beach, but this is about 70 miles south of San Francisco.
