9. Pollywogg Holler (6239 South Rd., Belmont)
We know, we know… this one isn’t technically in Buffalo, but it’s so darn unique that we couldn’t leave it off the list. Trust us, the 1.5-hour drive to dine here is worth it. Pollywogg Holler is literally hidden away in the woods, so you’ll have to short stroll through the forest to reach this one-of-a-kind treehouse resort, but when you arrive, you’ll be treated to some of the best wood-fired pizza you’ll ever taste. It’s open and operating during the spring, summer, and fall - and you’ll find a delightful soundtrack of live music to accompany your meal!
