Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days. Friendly Farm Restaurant is located on a quiet, 200-acre farm in Upperco, Maryland. The drive to this spot is about 40 minutes from the city.
Friendly Farm has been dishing up smiles and eats here since 1959. Originally, the old farmhouse, which still stands today, was the spot where happy locals would gather for a fresh, home-cooked meal. Today, a new (larger) building welcomes many of those same faces plus plenty of new ones!
This sweet, family-run haven is one of the most peaceful restaurants in Maryland. And with no city distractions, you can truly focus on enjoying your meal and the company at your table.
After parking, walk to the restaurant and prepare for a scrumptious homemade meal. You'll truly be welcomed like family and treated to down-home cooking that soothes the soul.
