Arkansas is host to many stellar craft beer breweries around the state, and today we're going to look at a few of the very best. From a hard Pine(apple) Cider to your new favorite ale or stout, there is something on this list for every fan of brews. Visit a taproom or take a tour to sample from dozens of options on tap at these six breweries:
1. Ozark Beer Company, Rogers
The Ozark Beer Company taproom and patio are open 7 days a week. Visit the tasting room to sample one of their staple beers or try a small batch brew like the Peach Solar with its fruity notes. They also have their own spiked seltzer in three flavors- strawberry lime, pineapple coconut, and grapefruit.
2. Gravity BrewWorks, Big Flat Arkansas
Gravity BrewWorks opened its doors in 2013, offering tours, a tasting room, beer garden, and keg sales. This micro brewery prides itself in crafting small-batch beers. Visit often to enjoy a rotating selection of brews on-tap. Some of the unconventional options include Snow Queen Mint Chocolate Coffee Stout and Hot Coco Spiced Chocolate Brown Ale.
3. Fossil Cove Brewing Co., Fayetteville
Visit the taproom at Fossil Cove Brewing for their unique craft beer experience. Seasonal and experimental beers are on tap and the libations menu also includes ciders and wine. Pair a brew with a wood-fired pizza. You may want to try their Belgian-style T-rex Tripel with notes of fruit, marshmallow, and pepper! Bring some of their dinosaur-decorated cans of beer home.
4. Stone's Throw Brewing, Little Rock
Started by four guys who met in a home brew club, Stone's Throw Brewing occupies a historic storefront in a lively Little Rock neighborhood. Visit their taproom and biergarten with a full menu and plenty of beer. With 20 house-brewed beers and ciders on tap, there's an option for just about every beer connoisseur! Personally, I would love to try their Pine(apple) Cider.
5. Saddlebock Brewery, Springdale
Located on a 14-acre farm out in the country, the brewery was built with both the beauty of Arkansas and the environment in mind. The brewery building has a basement that stays naturally cool all year long, reducing the need for refrigerated cooling. All-natural ingredients are used to brew their beer, which is reflected in how they taste. There are 18 beers on tap in the taproom. Try a Hefeweizen, lager, or IPA and take some home!
6. Bentonville Brewing, Bentonville
With its wide selection of beers and friendly staff, happy customers return to Bentonville Brewing again and again. Try a cherry sour, hard seltzer, or one of their ciders for something a little different. But they do have plenty of classics like ales, stouts, IPAs, and lagers!
