Even if you rarely indulge in a glass of wine, you can surely still enjoy a pleasant visit to these wineries across Arkansas! The Natural State is proud to be home to a variety of vineyards that produce deliciously sweet (or dry) nectar for everyone to sample or even purchase. Many of these wineries offer tours and even meals for visitors to enjoy with a glass of their special brand.

12. Movie House Winery

This winery, located in Morrilton at 112 East Commerce Street, features handcrafted wines made in small batches, a tasting bar, wine-making classes and supplies, and a gift shop.

11. Tontitown Winery

The Tontitown Winery, open six days a week for free tastings, is housed in the "Taldo House" built in 1917. Tontitown Winery is located at 335 N. Barrington Road in Springdale. Be sure to visit the History room which features the traditions of the grape growing and wine making Italians who founded the area!

10. The Winery of Hot Springs

Located at 1503 Central Avenue in the Spa City, visitors can enjoy a free tour of this branch of the Arkansas Historic Wine Museum followed by tasting a wide variety of delicious Arkansas wines. Various wines, gifts, and accessories are available for purchase as well.

9. Cowie Wine Cellars

Cowie Wine Cellars and Vineyards is located 3 miles west of Paris, on Scenic Highway 22 in Carbon City. Bed and breakfast suites, as well as complimentary wine tasting with cheese, are featured, and visitors can observe wine making operation and the Gallery of Barrels, which features oil paintings on the barrel heads.

8. Chateau Aux Arc Vineyards & Winery

Chateau Aux Arc of famed wine country Altus promotes itself as the largest planter of Cynthiana grapes in the world as well as the largest planter of Chardonnay grapes in the United States outside of California. Chateau Aux Arc is named for the French term meaning "at the bend," which is generally believed to be the origin of the name "Ozark." The winery has been locally owned and operated since 2001.

7. Railway Winery and Vineyards

Railway Winery and tasting room can be found on Highway 187, two miles past the Beaver Bridge. One of the newest small farm wineries in Arkansas, Railway Winery is situated alongside the old M&NA Railway line on Trestle 71-7. The tasting room is open on weekends (Friday through Sunday).

6. Keels Creek Winery

This boutique Eureka Springs winery is located at 3185 East Van Buren. The winery processes about 25 tons of local grapes from their vineyard and two other Northwest Arkansas vineyards to make their wines. Keels Creek Winery also has a selection of lightly sweet wines that's topped off by their Big C, a 5 year old tawny port of Cynthiana and Chambourcin wines.

5. An Enchanting Evening Winery

An Enchanting Evening Winery revitalizes the fine art of commercial wine making in the Little Rock area by being the first licensed small farm winery manufacturer in over 70 years in the historic wine making community of Little Italy, located about 20 minutes west of the capital city. Weddings and other formal gatherings are also held at this lovely locale.

4. Mount Bethel Winery

Located at 5014 Mountt Bethel Drive in Altus, Mount Bethel Winery is the third oldest winery in the state of Arkansas and produces premium estate-grown wines from grapes and other fruit. The historic cellar offers over 100-year-old tradition of wine making, bottling and tasting, plus tours.

3. Raimondo Winery

Raimondo Winery is a family-owned winery with wines hand-crafted using artisan techniques in small lots from premium California grapes. Raimondo Winery specializes in Italian and Iberian wines. In addition to exceptional wines, the winery also offers extra virgin olive oils and premium balsamic vinegars. Raimondo Winery is located in Mountain Home at 1406 Highway 62 West.

2. Post Familie Vineyards

Post Familie Vineyards and Winery is located on state Highway 186 in Altus. The winery has its origins in the immigration into the area of German and Swiss Catholics in the 1880s—which made Altus one of the leading wine communities in the state by the turn of the century—and is today one of the 100 largest wineries in the nation.

Located in Wiederkehr Village just outside Altus, Wiederkehr's cellars produce a variety of wines and offer cellar tours that include history, wine details, and information about their famed brand.
