It may be new but Trash Creamery is absolutely rocking the 80s vibe. This ridiculously themed ice cream shop will have you nostalgic for neon and mix tapes. Let's pretend we've revved up our deloreans and headed back to a strange time when MTV only played music videos as we step inside this delicious dessert joint.
Trash Creamery is one of the most unique places you'll find in Bentonville.
The fab ice cream shop is a short jaunt from the city's square. The sweet concept of an 80s-themed creamery came from the owner of the beloved Tusk & Trotter American Brasserie, Rob Nelson.
Ordering is straight-forward. You just need to make two decisions before "trashing" your dessert.
Cup or cone. Chocolate or vanilla. After you've created your base you'll choose from about sixty different toppings or what's known as "trashing it up." There's also suggested trash combos (called mix tapes) if you're overwhelmed with the possibilities.
The wall art and themed ice cream mix tapes aren't the only bits of nostalgia around the shop.
Toys you should remember from the era don each table from Rubik's Cubes to Mr. Potato Heads. In addition to this bit of fun you can also take part of Trash's different events. Costume parties, movie nights, and even Saturday morning cartoons will bring a well-rounded experience to your visit.
One of the best parts about Trash (besides delicious desserts) is that it's introducing new generations to the fabulousness of the 80s.
Not everyone is lucky enough to live through this spiffy era!
Whether you were an 80s baby or just appreciate the pop culture, this tasty ice cream shop is a fun place to try!
