Currently, Arkansans are divided into two groups. About half of the state is already humming Jingle Bells while putting the finishing touches on their Christmas trees. The rest of us don't even want to look at a Santa hat until well after Thanksgiving. No matter which group you fall into, it's never to soon to start planning festive activities. One upcoming event that will entertain even the most stubborn of Grinches is the Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends. Pine Bluff's incredible display is recognized as Arkansas' longest drive-through light show. The lights will be on until Dec. 31st so your family has plenty of time to get into the holiday spirit.
For 22 years, the Pine Bluff Festival Association has put on Arkansas' most shining holiday event. The Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends is a mile and a half drive-thru light show. The spectacular display will be at the Jefferson County Regional Park which is located at 6300 W 4th Ave., Pine Bluff, AR 71602.
This free event is the perfect family excursion. Besides getting to see the thousands of lights, the show also has a large Santa Land Arch for photos.
The impressive light drive has over 280 individual scenes along the way. Spot reindeer playing games, redneck Santa, all twelve days of Christmas, and tons of other festive exhibits.
In addition to the millions of lights, the drive-thru also has a field of stars. These memorial stars honor active military members as well as fallen veterans.
The Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends will be open from Nov. 20th - Dec. 31st 6 - 9 pm so you have plenty of time to schedule a visit.
Although this is a free event any $10 donation will earn you an ornament (while supplies last).
