Make a meal out of the giant baked potatoes at Neumeier's Rib Room. These spuds come dressed in mouthwatering barbecue, chili, or even sausage! Let's try not to drool on our screens as we browse through this spudtacular part of the menu.
Residents of Fort Smith already know and love Neumeier's Rib Room. However, if you're an out-of-towner you may not be familiar with this delicious spot.
Neumeier’s Rib Room & Beer Garden opened in 1998, though the beer garden preceded the ribs by a couple of years. The Rib Room has renovated, reinvented, and reopened throughout the years but has always stayed a Fort Smith staple. They're currently at the corner of Garrison Avenue and 5th Street downtown.
We wouldn't be doing Neumeier's justice if we didn't mention their award winning ribs. It's in the name, after all!
The dry-rubbed ribs earned 1st place at the Arkansas State BBQ Championship and have kept Arkansans hooked. That said, if you're not wanting a total carnivore feast then look to their giant baked potatoes. These meal-worthy spuds are the biggest in town!
In addition to the plates of delicious barbecued platters, sandwiches, and tamales, the Rib Room also offers ridiculously large baked potatoes.
These massive spuds are not your typical butter and chive side dish. They take up the whole plate! The Big Baked Tater menu has five different options as well as seven other additional toppings to create Instagram-worthy works of (tasty) art.
These edible bowls are stuffed with Neumeier's best meats as well as some unexpected options.
Savoy the tater with pulled chicken topped with creamy cole slaw or chow down on one filled with chopped pork, cheese, and BBQ sauce drizzle. The chili baked potato is also stuffed with tamales while the Polish sausage spud comes with cheese, onions, jalapenos, and BBQ sauce.
They may be famous for their ribs but don't pass up Neumeier's filling baked potato meals!
Any spud lover will be delighted with these massive platefuls of culinary love. Depending on which filling you choose, the baked potatoes are between $5-10.
