Next time you're out getting your kicks on Route 66, make sure to refuel at Cruiser's Route 66 Cafe in Arizona. This retro diner oozes old-fashioned Americana, and although the décor is kitschy, the food is downright delicious.
Cruiser's Route 66 Cafe in Williams is one of the kitschiest restaurants you'll ever visit - but that's what makes it so charming.
This retro diner eternalizes the heyday of the Mother Road with restored gas pumps, vintage road signs, and other 1950s memorabilia. It's good old-fashioned Americana at its finest!
Either grab a seat in one of the booths...
...or at the bar. Either way, the nostalgia runs deep, with black-and-white checkered floors, metal walls, and Coca-Cola inspired murals.
As for the food, the menu features all the usual suspects you'd expect to find at an old-school greasy spoon.
Start with some onion rings or chili cheese fries, then move on to a big, juicy burger or BBQ sandwich.
There are over a dozen handhelds to choose from, so whether you're in the mood for a classic cheeseburger or a one-pound monstrosity loaded with toppings, there's something for everyone.
Other entrees include BBQ plates and steaks, as well as comfort food sides like cornbread, coleslaw, and potato salad.
Don't forget to sweeten things up with some dessert! You can't go wrong with a banana split, float, or milkshake.
Every bite will have you reminiscing on old times!
Visit the Cruiser's Route 66 Cafe website or Facebook page for more information, including current business hours and a full menu.
