This winter, you can sip cocktails in a heated igloo at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess' annual Christmas spectacular. It might be an unconventional way to celebrate the season here in the Valley, but you'll never forget the experience.

Still going strong after 11 years, Christmas at the Princess is a beloved tradition for thousands of Arizona families. Over a dozen attractions, from rides to homemade s'mores to an ice bar for the grown-ups, there's something for kids one to ninety-two.
A whopping 4.5 million lights adorn every inch of the resort, and there are two ways to experience the magic.
Either take a leisurely stroll on your own time, or hop on the Princess Express Train for an incredible journey through the festive displays—including a 17-foot-long tunnel complete with glittering bulbs galore.
An additional 70,000 lights on the Princess' iconic Christmas tree dance in time to 18 classic holiday tunes.
Along with a five-minute HD video show projected onto the resort's facade, this nightly event is the embodiment of yuletide cheer.
Why not make social distancing festive? The Princess debuted its 'Winterland Igloos' last season, but they sure do come in handy this year.
These climate-controlled igloos are the perfect way to hang out with your crew safely. The adjoining heated patio will give you all the warm and cozy feels, and dazzling lights everywhere you look promise to leave you in childlike, wide-eyed wonderment.
What better way to kick back than with an adult beverage?
Sip on a warm winter cocktail and pretend—only if for a night—that you're somewhere cold and snowy.
Keep the icy theme going on the 6,000-square-foot skating rink.
It may look a bit out of place amidst the vast Arizona desert landscape, but that only further amplifies the enchantment. The cost is $32 per person, with a $7 discount if you bring your own skates.
Escape the Valley yet again with Polar Glide, a four-lane snow tubing hill.
Other rides include a ferris wheel and carousel, both charmingly holiday-themed.
