2. Gadzooks Enchiladas and Soup, Phoenix
Just like the restaurant name suggests, this place focuses almost exclusively on the enchilada. They are handmade as you order, fire-baked, then served up piping hot. I personally like the green chile pork as a filling. Address: 3313 North 7th Street, Phoenix.

For a Oaxacan-style meal, visit this place and eat a mole dish. We recommend the enmoladas (mole-covered enchiladas) and the tamal de mole. Address: 1507 W Hatcher Road, Phoenix.

Finding vegetarian or even vegan options at Mexican restaurants can be a bit tough. La Indita is able to accommodate both diets with delicious results. Address: 622 North 4th Avenue, Tucson.

Known for its spicy meals, Los Dos Molinos has several locations in the Phoenix area and is definitely a favorite around these parts.
