2. Guayo’s El Rey, Miami
This classic spot in the Globe-Miami area is the perfect example of Mexican food done well. This includes their tacos, which have shredded meat, lettuce, and cheese encased in a crispy shell. Address: 716 Sullivan St, Miami
3. La Botana Grill, Tucson

This food truck can be found throughout the Phoenix-metro area and offers three to six different tacos, depending on availability. 8. Poco, Bisbee
Okay, all you vegetarians and vegans, don’t fret because I also managed to find a spot for you! Poco in Peddler’s Alley in Bisbee specializes in vegan Mexican food and this includes some pretty fabulous tacos which come topped with a variety of vegetables and meat substitutes. 9. Tacos Los Altos, Flagstaff
One of the top taco options in this mountain city, Tacos Los Altos has plenty of options for everyone in your party, including mini and rolled tacos. Address: 3650 E Rte 66, Flagstaff
10. Taqueria Aqui Con El Nene, Tucson
Most people know this food truck for its famous Sonoran dogs but the carne asada tacos are also a winner. The owners also recently opened a sit-down restaurant which has the same tasty food options. Address: 4415 N Flowing Wells Rd, Tucson
11. Taqueria El Pueblito, Tucson
Looking for more options than just chicken or carne asada? This restaurant has plenty to choose from, including pork al pastor, rajas con crema, and fish in a soft or crispy shell. Address: 1800 E Fort Lowell Rd, Tucson
12. Taqueria Los Yaquis, Phoenix
This food truck has a permanent spot at the light rail stop on 7th Avenue and is perfect if you’re looking for a late night snack without visiting a chain restaurant. The line is almost ridiculously long but the savory flavors you get out of a $1 taco is worth it. Address: 727 W Camelback Rd, Phoenix
