Wildland Chocolate is a new, small, artisan chocolate company based out of Anchorage, Alaska.
This company makes it their mission to bring you delicious, single origin chocolate that's ethically sourced. They handcraft each bar from scratch, using high quality ingredients.
The original dark chocolate bars were created using only two premium ingredients: ethically sourced cocoa beans, and organic cane sugar.
This was because one of the founders was allergic to the additives found in most chocolates. They branched out into bars such as milk chocolate, white chocolate, and "inclusion" bars, which contain fruit, coffee, spices, and other flavors to savor.
The dark chocolate bars still have incredible flavors, depending on the origin of the bean.
You can find notes of honey and pineapple in their chocolate crafted from Belize beans, or raspberry and citrus flavors in their Guatemalan bars. All of their chocolate bars, including white and milk chocolate, are allergist friendly, and free from nuts, peanuts, soy, dairy, gluten, and other additives.
If you love chocolate but have a hard time finding something clean and free of allergens, this company is going to be your go-to!
To craft their white chocolate, they use ethically sourced Ecuadorian cocoa butter, organic cane sugar, and certified gluten free oats. They have fun and pair a range of flavors that you will love in their tasty inclusion bars.
Sometimes you'll find mouthwatering concoctions like these sesame bars.
Using milk chocolate, they add black sesame seeds, nutty amaranth puffs, and candied sesame seeds. You can also find other incredible flavors like double shot coffee bars, and ginger cardamom white chocolate.
You can find Wildland Chocolate all around the Anchorage area.
In the summer you'll see them in farmer's markets like Fire Island Farmer’s Market in Airport Heights. Or you can spot them this coming weekend during Fur Rondy in an Art Market Pop Up on D Street. They'll even occasionally pop by your favorite coffee shop like Uncle Leroy's, and let you try some of their incredible wares!
You can purchase one of these amazing, small batch, handcrafted chocolate bars for only $5.00.
They also offer discounts if you buy them in larger quantities when they're at farmers markets. You can find 3 for $14.00, or 6 for $25.00, so take the opportunity to stock up when you see these prices!
