Roughwoods Microbrewery is a part of Rough Woods Inn and Cafe in Nenana, Alaska.
The cafe and inn have been a staple in Nenana for over 22 years! They serve delicious food and offer cozy, casual lodging for the traveler headed through town.
The microbrewery has been around since 2013, brewing German style beers for your enjoyment!
With a pilsner lager, oktober-fest, and hefe-weizen bier styles for you to try, there's plenty of light, delicious malty beers to choose from. Many guests rave about how delicious the beers are, rivaling some of the more popular breweries in the state!
The beers are so tasty that you have to make time for at least one with your lunch or dinner.
For now they're only served in-house, so you can't take these beers to go. They pair great with their delicious burgers or fresh Alaskan fried halibut!
Their cafe is very popular, and they serve breakfast all day!
Many people travel all over the state for their delicious baked goods and pies! Dinner service will start after 4:00 p.m. each day.

Explore the cafe and check out the awesome wood carvings done by the owner's husband, Earl. The burls located throughout the cafe were actually shipped in via riverboat on the Nenana River from the Coy homestead on Kantishna River.

It's the perfect spot to spend the night after you enjoy your evening tasting all of their delicious types of beer! You don't have to go far for a good night's rest after dinner!
This awesome little place is open all year round.
You can visit them every day except Tuesdays! They are open from 8:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. in lovely downtown Nenana, Alaska. And most importantly: beer service starts after 12:00 p.m.!
