The first stop on your road trip is D's Sweets Bakery in Lillian. D's Sweets Bakery is a tiny, old-fashioned bakery that sells a variety of baked treats, including cakes, cupcakes, pastries, and more.
2. Stacey's Olde Tyme Soda Fountain - Foley
Your next stop is Stacey's Olde Tyme Soda Fountain in Foley. Stacey's Olde Tyme Soda Fountain, which opened in 1929, is located in downtown Foley and is a popular gathering spot for all ages. It's also one of Alabama's few authentic soda fountains still in operation today. Stacey's Olde Tyme Soda Fountain is well known for its classic milkshakes.
3. Punta Clara Kitchen - Fairhope
Following a short drive, you'll arrive at Punta Clara Kitchen in Fairhope. Punta Clara Kitchen is an old-fashioned candy shop where candies are made onsite using family recipes. The shop's most popular candy is its praline. After just one bite, you'll see why people can't get enough of it.
4. Three Georges Candy - Mobile
The final stop on your road trip is Three Georges Candy in Mobile. Like Punta Clara Kitchen, Three Georges Candy is also an old-fashioned candy shop with a variety of sweet treats. Since opening for business in 1917, Three Georges Candy has remained one of Alabama's top candy destinations.
