This special trail has a distance of 632 miles and is most certainly worth taking whenever you're craving something sweet.

1. Pizzelle's Confections - Huntsville
Pizzelle's Confections, which opened for business in 2013, is located at Huntsville's historic Lowe Mill. This shop is best known for its beautiful artisan chocolates.
2. Tasty Dip - Heflin
Tasty Dip is an old fashioned drive-in restaurant that's located in Heflin. Having been in business since 1948, it's also the town's oldest restaurant. Tasty Dip offers a variety of ice cream treats, including its famous Upside Down Banana Split, which customers continuously rave about.
3. Bluff Park Ice Cream Shoppe - Birmingham
Bluff Park Ice Cream Shoppe is one of the Birmingham area's top ice cream destinations. This ice cream shop offers a variety of gourmet flavors on a rotating schedule. Their Ice Cream Nachos (pictured) are a definite must-try!
4. K & J's Elegant Pastries & Creamery - Alabaster
K & J's Elegant Pastries & Creamery is "THE" place to visit whenever you're craving a milkshake. In addition to baked treats, this dessert shop also creates a variety of over-the-top milkshakes that are topped with everything from cake slices to cotton candy. They're large enough to feed 3-5 people, so don't forget to bring along your appetite.
5. Mr. Coffee Bean - Dothan
If you're a fan of cinnamon rolls, a stop at Mr. Coffee Bean in Dothan is a must! This coffee shop is best known for its 2-pound cinnamon roll, which is available with only icing, or with icing, caramel, and pecans.
6. Felix's Fish Camp - Spanish Fort
Felix's Fish Camp in Spanish Fort serves one of Alabama's most outrageous desserts: Moon Pie A La Mode. This unique dessert consists of a heated chocolate MoonPie, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate syrup. It's a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.
7. Hope's Cheesecake - Gulf Shores
