2. Schakolad Chocolate Factory, Fort Lauderdale
Schakolad Chocolate Factory in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is the next stop on this road trip. One of the best parts about stopping at Schakolad is the fact that you can participate in a personalized chocolate-making experience if you come on the right day. But even if you don’t make your own chocolates, you can surely snag a few delicious ones that have already been made with love. Patrick Leze is a master pastry chef who serves up a broad selection of sweets, including some of the tastiest chocolates around. While you might come for the chocolates on this sweet road trip, we can’t guarantee you won’t leave with a few dozen macarons, or chocolate covered/drizzled/sprinkled treats too.

It’s hard to visit
Castronovo Chocolate Factory simply because you will never want to leave. "From bean to bar" says it all! This award-winning chocolate factory and tasting room really brings their A-game with every sweet confection and chocolate treat...not to mention some of the best truffles in Florida! And the most stunningly beautiful too. This shop is worth a browse for the artistry alone.
