I’m in that era of my life where nothing sounds better than spending time in nature. Whether it’s hiking a nearby nature preserve through Florida’s wetlands or simply sitting at my favorite local park with a book. Being in nature is really rewarding for the mind, body, and soul, which is why if you have a favorite hidden gem park, make sure to visit as much as possible! I recently came across Sholom Park in Ocala, Florida, which is still a hidden gem for many. This non-profit, privately owned, 44-acre botanical garden first opened to the public in 2004 and features a huge variety of plants, trees, flowers, and more. Who’s ready to take a hike through nature?
