Wisconsin has some incredible museums, sports venues, and other "mainstream" attractions. But Wisconsin is also wacky--and that's just the way we like it. So don't settle for "normal." Let's be weird and visit these ten weird Wisconsin attractions.

1. National Mustard Museum

You may have just finished touring the Ketchup Museum (uh, not sure if that's real or not) and now you're thinking, "Hey, that's unfair, where is the love for mustard?" Well, if you care about fairness, head to Middleton and explore a museum dedicated to all things mustard. They have 5,500 different types of mustard on display, and there's even a tasting bar where you can try hundreds.

2. Jurustic Park

During the "Iron Age" (the Iron Age that apparently only happened in Wisconsin), iron creatures roamed the land (well, Marshfield). And they were TERRIFYING. Well, good news for you--they are still around for you to see. Legitimately, really good craftsmanship went into making these.

3. JFK's World's Largest Ball of Twine

Right off the bat, the JFK in question is James Frank Kotera, so if you're a conspiracy theorist, this probably isn't for you. Now that we have that out of the way, yes, this is a big ball of twine. But the story behind it is really interesting. Apparently, God visited Kotera and instructed him to stop drinking. Kotera heeded this instruction and the twine ball construction began. Be a part of this unique story and visit Lake Nebagamon.

4. Forevertron

Once the largest scrap metal sculpture in the world (still really big at 50 feet), Forevertron was the brainchild of Tom Every (aka Dr. Evermor). It is located in Sumpter and you can get a glimpse of it. What possessed Dr. Evermor to create this thing? So that he could be launched "into the heavens on a magnetic lightning force beam." Okay then.

5. Bessie the Cow

Why would I drive to Janesville to see a large replica of a cow when I can see actual cows if I drive two miles from my house? BECAUSE THOSE COWS AREN'T THIS FREAKING BIG!!

6. World's Largest Six Pack

Dude, this is Wisconsin, and you know we have to represent in all the major beer categories. We make our pride known down in La Crosse with this very interesting exhibit.

7. Organ Piper Pizza

How many times have you been eating at a pizzeria and you've thought--this music is just "okay," but what I'd really like to hear is some live organ music. Well, head to Milwaukee, where your prayers will be answered. Yes, this is a pizza place that also has live organ music. And lots of people eat here.

8. The Angel Museum

Please note, the Angel Museum has permanently closed.

Angels aren't weird, they're beautiful. But an angel museum? A little much. Located in Beloit, you will have no trouble satiating your desire to be surrounded by angels. Even see Oprah's angels. And no, Gayle isn't there.

9. The Hodag

Up in Rhinelander, the Hodag is larger than legend. It's green, lizard-like, and apparently has a penchant for golf balls. Why it only appears in Rhinelander is unclear. But that's its home, so you need to head to Rhinelander to visit its statue and maybe try and search for it yourself.

10. Wizard Quest

Okay, as someone who has been here more than once, I'm not saying you're weird if you pay admission to go on a wizard's quest. But it definitely is not your ordinary attraction. It's really well done, even for "adults." There is good attention to detail and you will have fun doing the quest. It's also a nice thing to do while in Wisconsin Dells besides go to water parks all day.
