Looking for a magical way to spend a summer day? Well, look no further than Butterflies and Blooms at Green Bay Botanical Garden. The brand new exhibit features hundreds of fluttering butterflies - but that's not all. There are also plenty of activities to keep visitors of all ages entertained. You've got to hurry, though. The exhibit is only open for a limited time. Take a look:
The Butterflies and Blooms exhibit will be at Green Bay Botanical Garden until August 31, 2019.
Open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., the "live butterfly experience" showcases native butterflies and the plants they love.
The fun takes place inside an 1,800-square-foot mesh butterfly house.
On any given day, there are 500 (or more) butterflies fluttering around. And that number will continue to grow.
300 new butterflies will arrive each week - for a total of 4,500 butterflies throughout the entire summer!
The amount of butterflies isn’t the only impressive factor, though. There’s also the incredible variety, which includes more than 20 species.
In addition to watching the butterflies in action, visitors can take part in an assortment of activities.
From crafts and educational projects to butterfly feedings, there's something for everyone (and every age).
Don’t forget your camera. Aside from the variety of candid shots you’ll surely take, there are "snap and share" stations that provide a beautiful backdrop for your photos.
So, are you ready to check out this magical exhibit?
