A tiny town in Marinette County, Silver Cliff probably isn’t on your radar. But it should be – and that’s because it’s home to McClintock County Park.
Fittingly known as bridge park, the county park features four wooden bridges.
Another perk is the serene and pristine Peshtigo River, which runs rights through the park.
The perfect way to get close-up views of the idyllic river is by strolling along any – or all – of the park’s bridges, each of which spans a series of rapids on the river.
Visitors to the park can easily turn their daytime excursion into an overnight adventure thanks to a couple of charming cabins, which are available for rent.
Waterfront camping is also an option since the park has 10 rustic campsites located right along the river.
After exploring McClintock County Park, consider paying a visit to nearby Goodman Park. Just four miles away, Goodman Park boasts a scenic bridge and the beautiful Strong Falls.
