A notorious haunt, there are several strange tales surrounding the small-town cemetery – so many that you don’t want to visit alone or after dark (especially after midnight).
Also known as Walnut Grove Cemetery, Glenbeulah Cemetery is in the small village of Glenbeulah.
The remote graveyard is hidden in the woods at the end of a winding path.
Withering away with time, many of the tombstones - a majority of which date back to the mid-1800s - show signs of damage and wear.
But antiquated gravestones aren’t what the cemetery is known for.
Shrouded in lore, it's a notorious haunt. It even appeared on Unsolved Mysteries.
Over the years, the remote burial ground has been the site of some strange happenings.
The most common tale tells of an apparition of a man, who is commonly seen walking among the graves just after midnight.

According to legend, the man hanged himself from a tree in the cemetery.
The inexplicable occurrences also extend to a couple of specific tombstones – one of which allegedly glows in the dark.
Another tombstone is known for a ghostly pair of shoes, which appear and disappear at their will.
Accessible via a foot path only, a fast getaway isn’t an option when visiting Glenbeulah Cemetery, which means it’s definitely not suitable for the faint of heart!
